Focusling Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 6, 2026

Focusling ("we", "our", or "the app") is a focus and screen-time app. We designed Focusling to protect your privacy. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.

Summary

Focusling does not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal data. All information the app uses stays on your device. We do not operate servers that receive your data, and we do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

Information stored on your device

The app stores the following locally on your device only, so it can function:

This information never leaves your device and is removed when you delete the app.

Screen Time (Apple Family Controls)

Focusling uses Apple's Screen Time / Family Controls framework to let you limit selected apps until quests are completed. Your app and category selections are managed entirely by iOS on your device. Focusling cannot see which specific apps you select — iOS keeps this private — and this information is never sent anywhere.

Notifications

With your permission, the app may send local notifications (for example, quest reminders). These are generated on your device and do not involve any external service.

Children's privacy

Focusling is designed to be family-friendly. Because we do not collect any personal data, we do not knowingly collect information from children. Any data entered by a child stays on the device.

Data sharing

We do not share data with third parties because no data is collected off-device.

Your control

You can delete all app data at any time by deleting the app from your device. You can revoke Screen Time and notification permissions at any time in the iOS Settings app.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will revise the "Last updated" date above.
